The VASERlipo experience

VASERlipo is a simple, minimally invasive liposuction procedure that can be performed in a physician’s office, a hospital, or an outpatient surgery center, while you are awake or under general anesthesia.

During the procedure, ultrasound energy is used to treat unwanted fat, loosening the cells from other tissues so they can be gently removed through a small tube. Depending on the number of areas being treated, the procedure can take as little as one hour or up to several hours.

After a VASERlipo procedure, patients wear special compression garments to help skin contract smoothly to the body’s new contours. A short period of rest (typically 12 hours) is recommended, followed by two to three weeks of general recovery when strenuous activities should be avoided.

Results are immediately noticeable after the VASERlipo procedure and will continue to improve as the body heals. Final results are typically seen in about three to four months.

Fat Transfer Procedures

Many patients chose to have fat removed from one area of the body with a VASERlipo procedure and transfer it to accentuate or contour another area of the body in what is called a Fat Transfer Procedure. Fat cells treated and removed during VASERlipo procedures are typically of high quality, and are viable to re-introduce into the body in a Fat Transfer Procedure. Smartlipo

Like tumescent liposuction, SmartLipo removes fat through a cannula inserted into small openings in the skin. However, with SmartLipo, a laser is used to first melt the fat, helping with extraction and resulting in less swelling and bruising for faster recovery. In addition to melting pockets of fat, the laser energy also induces collagen growth while tightening lax skin.

SmartLipo is a minimally invasive treatment that only requires local anesthesia—enhancing client safety and reducing the likelihood of side effects. Typically, only one short treatment session is needed, enabling you to get back to a normal schedule quickly.

Body-Jet Liposuction

Body-jet Liposuction (also called water lipo) is a water-jet assisted tumescent liposuction that sculpts and shapes your body more gently and with less downtime and discomfort than regular liposuction.

Body-Jet Liposuction introduces gentle pulses of fluid while simultaneously dislodging and removing fat without the brute force used in traditional liposuction. The spray of fluid separates fat from other tissues. Body-Jet then removes fluids from the patient as quickly as they were introduced. Because less fluid is in the patient at any given time, minimal discomfort and a faster and more accurate procedure is possible.
