TREATMENT OF SKIN CANCER AND ACTINIC KERATOSES
Skin damage from the sun is extremely common in the form of skin cancers and a precancerous condition called actinic keratosis. At Gateway we offer treatment for individual cancer and precancerous spots. We also offer a comprehensive treatment called laser resurfacing to remove all of the facial precancerous spots in a single treatment. This can be life saving for patients with severe skin damage, precancerous and cancerous spots. This treatment will greatly reduce the risk of future actinic keratoses and skin cancers. We also offer routine full-body skin examinations to screen for potential skin cancer, as well as laser resurfacing to clear the skin of precancerous lesions caused by too much sun, thereby greatly reducing the risk of future skin cancers.

RHINOPHYMA
Rhinophyma (swollen bulbous nose) is cause by inflammation from conditions like rosacea with a progressive obstruction of the oil glands in the nose resulting in swelling and an increasing size and irregularity of the nose, especially the lower part of the nose near the tip.
