Tim McGraw, MD

Dr. Tim McGraw is a board certified dermatologist.  He grew up in Huntsville, AL as one of five children.

Dr. McGraw graduated magna cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in chemistry.  While in college, Dr. McGraw played on multiple intramural sports teams, tutored disadvantaged children, and worked at a regional chemistry laboratory.

Dr. McGraw attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine in Bethesda, MD where he again played intramural sports.  His medical internship was at Malcolm Grow Medical Center at nearby Andrews AFB, MD where he also completed a Family Medicine Residency and became board certified in this specialty.

Dr. McGraw served in the U.S. Air Force for several years as a family physician and flight surgeon including deployments to the Pacific Theater and Afghanistan before pursuing his dermatology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.  During his residency, he was presented both first and second-place research awards by the Association of Military Dermatologists.  He also shared responsibilities as chief resident.

Most recently, Dr. McGraw was the chief of Dermatology at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he provided medical and surgical dermatology care to military beneficiaries.

Dr. McGraw has published multiple articles in prestigious dermatology journals and has presented at local and international medical meetings.  He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and son.
